My 4th rock concert and my 2nd Bobaflex concert was at the SixPence.

For this one I got Josie to go with me. Gotta start off by saying this is definately one of my favorite concerts I've been to. Had so much fun. For the first time in a long time things actually felt right with Josie. Just like back in the old Josie and Sarah Days. =) And as a throwback to those days, Josie did the Josie Face for a picture while we ate chips and drank water in the corner. lol

But you see, this was taken after we got in. Getting in was interesting. Josie got in no problem...Because she was 26. I got in not so easily....Because I'm 18. Apparently it was a 21+ show. I told mom to ask about any age limits when she went to buy our tickets for us but she forgot. I then forgot to call them. But I completely bluffed my way in by telling the guy someone told my mom that it was 18+. Got him to take pity on me and he let me in with double Xs on my hands and a warning that if I'm caught drinking, I would go to jail along with the person who served me alcohol. Yay for being a girl who would be completely crushed if she couldn't see her favorite band and making a bouncer feel sorry for her!!! ^_^

After we ate some of our chips, well actually after Josie ate some of her chips because I didn't eat any, we decided to hide our chips in the corner under the stool((The fact that we did that just makes me giggle.)) and we moved over to stand by the railing next to the woman that took Chrissy and I's picture with Shaun at the Inferno. This was so we'd have a better chance of getting front row. Then we figured we'd get an even bigger advantage on them and we moved to go and sit down on the steps right next to the stage. It worked because we got some pretty awesome spots front and center. Ya, know, you can really underestimate the level of awkwardness when the band your watching is pretty much eye-level with you...

First band was Blue Sky Falling. Never heard of them before but they were pretty good. And the guitarist Garrett was pretty much singing and making funny faces directly at me since he was directly infront of me and there was that awkward eye-level thing. lol

After they finished playing it was time for Bobaflex. While BSF was taking their stuff down, I said hi to the woman((I'm going to refer to her as the Short Woman)) next to us and reminded her that we took each others pictures with Shaun. We then tried to figure out all the Bobaflex guy's names. She was sure on Tommy and Jerod. I was sure on Marty and Shaun. I can't remember how but we eventually figured out Chris. BSF guys were off the stage and Bobaflex was getting set up. Chris came out to mess with his guitar. Short Woman got out her camera and waved to Chris and made the motion that asks "Can I get a picture of you?". He just stood there and looked at her waiting to take his picture. I figured, "What the heck. Might as well." And got my camera out and made the motion to ask for a picture and he waved at me. I didn't wave at him but he waved at me....

Josie and I started laughing and I felt a little bad that he didn't wave to Short Woman even though she waved at him. But yea, that right there assured me it was going to be an interesting night. Haha!

Bobaflex finally came out and started playing. It was incredible. The band that had been my favorite band since about January((and still is my favorite band today))right there in front of our faces playing. And throughout the night Chris kept watching us and me and him even ended up singing parts of the song Slave to each other. Ahahah! Got one video of Bury Me With My Guns On...

Afterwards we started to head towards the back where the merch tables were and where the band guys would be. BUT we got stopped by a girl. A drunk girl. Combined with the noise in the building, our somewhat damaged hearing from the speakers and her slurred speach, we have no clue what she actually wanted. From what we could gather it was something like "Give me any drugs you have on you because they will search you if you want to get with any of the Bobaflex guys." Or something like that. I really have no clue. We were kinda just humoring her until she was done talking. But while we were lsitening to her Marty walked by us and thanked us for coming out. So missed a oportunity to talk to him because we were trying to figure out what the half naked drunk girl wanted us to give her. lol

We hung around for a little bit to get pictures and autographs. Josie got her shoe autographed by the Blue Sky Falling Guys. Newt, guitarist, signed her shoe and wrote, "You f***ing theif! You stole my shoe!" Or something like that on her shoe. XD Then throughout the night he told people and even brought guys up to us, pointing at Josie saying, "You see that girl? She's a f***ing theif! She stole my f***ing shoe!" It was friggen hilarious. And at the recent Sick Puppies concert, Blue Sky Falling played and when I was getting their autographs afterwards, this was brought up. And that led to a hilarious conversation that will be talked about in detail in a later blog. Bahaha!

So all the Bobaflex guys kinda scattered throughout the bar and outside except for Chris who was just standing near the merch tables not really talking to anyone. So we went to get our pictures taken with him and I think have him sign Josie's shoe.

After that there were some other people wanting a picture with him so we retured to our little corner area with stool to figure out who to get pictures and autographs from next. They were all just scattered and the ones we could find were all busy talking to large groups of people. So we were getting ready to leave and then Chris walks up to us. "I just wanted to thank you girls for being up front because whenever theres cute girls in the front row, the shows always go a lot smoother." We giggled and talked to him for a few minutes before heading out and calling it a night.

2nd rock concert. 1st rock concert at the Eagles and it was sold out.

Went to this one with Alydia and met Billie, Brian and Mumsy there. Heres Alydia and I cheesin it up with our tickets before heading into the Eagles.

First up was Jinxd.

My first time actually seeing them and knowing who they were instead of them just being a random band at a festival. I caught a guitar pick from Todd. =) There were these two girls right in front of Alydia and I about center stage. One had black hair and the other was blonde. They stuck out because Alydia and I laughed at something they did while Jinxd was doing a cover of Something In Your Mouth by Nickelback. Later on, I would get a message on MySpace from the dark haired girl, whos name is Grace, because she saw my pictures from the Tantric concert on there and we ended up adding each other as friends. When never knew each other and we were at several of the same concerts and were within a few feet of each other at each one. Now that have met and talked on MySpace, we haven't been to one concert that we were both at. lol Kinda funny. Also right beside Billie and Brian((who were right behind me)) was Tim! From the Tantric concert! At first he didn't recognize me but in the gap between Spider Rockets and Pop Evil, I said hi and talked to him a bit. =)

Next was the Spider Rockets. They were okay. BUT Billie and I couldn't get over 1 thing. And later I found out that Grace apparently had a problem with the same thing. The girl lead singers face. She did this thing with her face...

It just bothered us. Then Billie and I tried to make that face...

But anyways, their music was alright. They recorded a bit of it and put it on Youtube. You can see Brian clearly pumping his fist and getting into it. lol

Then Pop Evil came out. Their performance was just incredible.

The entire night I got tons of eye contact from Tony. lol Got a fist bump from him, got some funny pictures of him and he posed for a few of my pictures. I *almost* got a pick from Tony but when he went to put in it my hand a girl stuck her hand right ontop of mine and it went into her hand instead. I gave Tony a shocked sad look and he could only give me an apologetic sad look back since that was his last pick.

Billie and Brian decided that they wanted all their picture taken in front of the stage. Mumsy didn't really understand the whole take a picture thing AFTER the band and their equipment was already off the stage...

You had to be 21 to get into the after party they had there so we didn't stick around too long afterwards and I didn't get a picture with anyone. =(
